Portable Coffin Lifter

The New Twigg Portable Coffin Lifter now leads the way with Operator safety and overall practicality. Primarily designed to fit under the deck of a Hearse or in the rear of a Private Ambulance the Portable Coffin Lifter is equally at home in your Funeral premises as it is on the move.

We have carried all the safety features of our larger models and put it into something on a smaller scale to provide increased flexibility of use. Whilst this new lifter might look like a copy of what is already available in the market, we can assure you it is not. Designed from the ground up, there are no hand trap points on the top bed or other framework which is important for both Operator safety and compliance with CE Regs.

Leading rollers at either end of the Lifter allows Coffins to be loaded with ease without any framework obstructing the loading procedure. Streamlined rounded lifting handles on the base prevent injuries to ankles during use. These handles are also replicated on the top bed to provide ease of use and mobility for the Operator.

Powered by the same operating system as the ubiquitous Universal Loader, the Portable Coffin Lifter is fitted with foot pedal operation as standard. The added flexibility of a reduced operating height compared to other Twigg products means this really is the best alternative lifter as it can go anywhere. We can fit this with the 8” universal loader wheel if required. Our in-house seamstress can also produce a velvet pelmet to suit your requirements.
